Book of Common Prayer: Your word is a lantern to my feet and a light upon my path.

CEB: Your word is a lamp before my feet and a light for my journey.

The Book of Common Prayer translation was updated for the 1979 prayer book. The Common English Bible is a more accessible translation. Both are approved for use during worship in the Episcopal Church.
